During the NASCAR Cup race in Mexico, drivers faced challenging wet track conditions with only a few having switched to wet-weather tires. Kyle Busch spun out and collided with several cars, including Justin Haley, Kyle Larson, and A.J. Allmendinger, causing significant damage. Larson spent a long time in the garage for repairs as Busch finished 39th due to irreparable damage. Busch attributed the incident to sudden loss of traction on the wet track and expressed regret for the impact on other teams. Following the crash and Shane van Gisbergen’s win, Busch is now 50 points below the playoff cut-line as the series moves to Pocono Raceway.
